It's time to stop performing it — and start living it.
Reclaiming the Mother Root · A Half-Day Intensive
You feel it. The pull toward a different kind of power — rooted, relational, and real. Not the exhausted "strong Black woman." Not the woman who holds everything together while quietly falling apart. Something older. Something that belongs to you.
But when you try to step into it, something stops you. You lead from survival instead of sovereignty. You pour into your children while parenting from the same fear you were raised in. You love the men in your life — but you don't always know how to hold them accountable without either shrinking or punishing.
You've read the books. Done the courses. Maybe the therapy. And still — something isn't landing. Because it hasn't reached your body yet.
What's at stake is not your productivity or your wellness routine. What's at stake is the lineage.
"Every child watching you will learn from how you move through the world. Every man you love is either growing or staying still based on how you hold him. Every community you're part of needs the matriarch you are still becoming."
Patriarchy didn't just steal our power. It made us forget what our power actually looked like before it was taken — and replaced ancestral matriarchal authority with a "strength" that required us to suffer silently and serve endlessly.
The longer that goes unchallenged in our bodies — not just our minds — the more it gets passed down. To our children. Into our relationships. Into the next generation who will carry whatever we choose, or don't choose, to heal.
This is the moment to choose.
This is not a lecture. Not a webinar. Not another room full of information you leave behind when you walk out the door.
Reclaiming the Mother Root is a half-day immersive intensive that centers Black and Indigenous Knowledge systems as the primary authority on matriarchal power — and then moves that knowledge from your head into your nervous system, your relationships, and your actual daily life.
We begin in the body. We learn from the ancestors. We do honest mirror work across the three most important relationships in your life. And we close in community — witnessed, pledged, and changed.
This works differently because it doesn't ask you to think harder. It asks you to land deeper.
Not just inspired. Not just informed. Transformed — across the four dimensions that have always been the infrastructure of matriarchal power.
Matriarchy was not lost — it was stolen. You will understand, in your bones, what Black and Indigenous women have always known about power, governance, and care. And you will stop apologizing for the authority that was always yours.
You will feel what you've been holding — and learn to metabolize it, not suppress it. Grief, rage, love, and ancestral longing are not obstacles to your power. In a matriarchal framework, they are the source of it.
Your ancestors carried this. Queenmothers. Clan Mothers. Your grandmother. They held a knowing that colonization tried to bury. You will touch it again — on purpose — and bring it into your present life.
This is where most liberation work fails. The ideas land in the mind and stay there. We do the work to bring matriarchal power all the way through — into your nervous system, your posture, your breath, your way of being in a room.
You'll also leave with something you can use the next day — a personal Matriarchy Audit examining how you show up, or don't, across three relationships: yourself, your children, and the men in your life. We work on all three. In the room. With your body fully in it.
"I've done years of therapy and I still hadn't felt what I felt in one afternoon with myisha. Something moved in my body that I didn't even know was stuck. I left knowing something I couldn't have told you before I walked in."
— Community Participant, HYWF"The audit wrecked me in the best possible way. I realized I had been mothering every man in my life and calling it love. I haven't been the same since. Neither has my relationship with my son."
— Liberation Education Participant"myisha doesn't just teach — she transmits. I came in skeptical and left with my whole chest open. The somatic work is not optional. It's the whole point. Don't let anyone talk you out of being in the room."

This is a small taste of the somatic practice you will do in the room. Let the tree lead you. Notice what shifts.
This is a half-day to do what your lineage has been waiting for you to do. Not perfectly. Not without grief. But for real — in your body, in community, held by the knowledge of those who came before you.
